Avalon’s team of supply chain consultants has a long and successful track record of helping clients drive significant performance improvements in key areas of Supply Chain Execution.

RESPONSABILITIES

Participate as a member of our collaborative engagement teams in the development and implementation of various types of supply chain solutions for our valued clients:

Strategic projects such as network analysis and design, optimization, supply chain design, warehouse design, shop floor design;
Planning projects such as forecast method reviews, S&OP implementations, shop floor planning/scheduling optimization;
Warehouse Optimization projects such as process reviews, slotting, transportation cost optimization, shop floor process improvement, 5S and Kaizen workshops;
Software implementation projects – WMS, TMS, ERP, MES;
Automation integration – AutoStore, Kardex, etc;
Provide clear and concise updates and help the management team manage project risks;
Prepare executive presentations/summaries;
Present results to the various stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong Business Acumen – solid general understanding of all functional areas of business in general;
Two to five years of work experience in supply chain management;
Understanding of network design, supply chain strategy, optimization and warehouse operations;
Advanced level of Excel or any other database analysis tool;
Understanding of shop floor and warehouse operations;
Understanding of enterprise software (ERP, WMS, TMS) is an asset;
Project experience is an asset and consulting experience as an internal or external consultant is preferred.
